🌿 How Qalbiya Was Born - A Story from the Heart
There was a time when I felt truly weighed down not just physically, but in my heart. Emotionally drained, mentally overwhelmed… nothing felt right.
In that quiet moment of reflection, a memory from my childhood surfaced a simple routine at my Nani's house.
Every morning, she would lovingly give us a small spoon of Kalonji oil followed by warm Talbina. One day, with childlike curiosity, I asked:
“Nani, why do we have this every morning?”
She smiled gently and said:
“Yeh tumhare qalb ka bojh halka karta hai… it lightens the burden on your heart.”
At the time, I didn’t understand what she meant. But now… I felt it.
That day, I reached for an Ajwa date, stepped into the kitchen, and made Talbina just like she used to.
SubhanAllah… that first bite brought more than nourishment. It brought peace. Not just to my body, but to my heart and soul. It was as if I had reconnected to the Sunnah, to my roots, to the love of my grandmother and mother.
Later, I shared this moment with friends from Hajj. We spoke for hours about how Prophetic foods have slowly disappeared from our daily lives, replaced by modern trends and fleeting health fads.
But the true source of wellness? It was always there in the Sunnah.
That night, we made a heartfelt promise:
✨ To revive these forgotten blessings.
✨ To bring back what the Prophet loved and recommended.
✨ To make it simple and accessible for everyone.
And that’s how Qalbiya.com was born not from a business plan, but from pain, love, and a longing to return to the source of true healing.
If you’re reading this you’re not here by chance.
Welcome to Qalbiya.
A spoonful of Sunnah, a heart full of sukoon. 🤍
